The tape measures show both inches and millimeters. Good question. Thanks for asking.

Those tape measures are adorable! Do they have millimeters too, or just inches?

I'm blushing!!!

Here I am, settling in for my once-weekly knit-blog reading (anyone who's anyone knows that regular reading of Spinning Yarns Online is de rigeur), and what do I find? Me!

Oh yes, and the gloves. What can I say? SOFT SOFT SOFT!! And WARM! I love them, and I love the yarn!

It would probably also be a good thing at this point to credit Marnie MacLean, who wrote the bodacious pattern. These are her "Hooray For Me" gloves, and anyone who wants a treat for their hands this winter should knit themselves a pair from your sport-weight yarn. The pattern adapts for finger-weight as well. Then, when they've finished the gloves in a couple of days, they can knit more for everyone they know.

Carolyn,

Many good wishes to you on your fantastic new venture! Your yarns are gorgeous and I look forward to using them someday. I'm going to be taking lessons sometime soon; your colors will inspire me to get proficient! Lots of luck, Cousin Marcy

I got my order! Thank you, I love it. I'm so glad about the rovings, too. I'm taking a class in October to learn numerous ways of spinning hand painted fibers and I'm gonna need some to practice on!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I can't wait to start sampling all those yummy colors...I was thinking of matching socks for my daughters to begin with. About how many yards are there in 100g skein of sportweight yarn? THANKS! GOOD LUCK!
